My gratitude to God for Christian Science...

My gratitude to God for Christian Science and for what it is doing for me and for the world is more than mere words can express. Through the faithful study of Science and radical reliance on God, my husband and I have been able to rear a family of seven children free from materia medica. With the help of practitioners and my own understanding, we have had many healings; some were those of ulcers, a dog bite, colds, hornet stings, ringworm, pneumonia, and low blood pressure. Discordant human relations have been made harmonious.

When a daughter was six Years old, she looked ill one day in school, and a friend of hers felt her and said she had a fever. This little friend went to the teacher, telling her that my daughter was sick. The teacher called the child to her and felt her forehead and told her that she should go to the rest room. Right then she asked the teacher, "Has God ever had a fever?" She further said. "If God never had a fever. His perfect child could never have one."

The teacher immediately sent her back to her seat. That was the end of the fever. The child knew the truth of perfect God and perfect man.
