A Safe Dwelling Place
"When we are dwelling 'in the living faith ... and
keeping His commandment.' we are ... safe"
One may ask, "Is it wise to seek safety in God?" Really, is it safe to seek it elsewhere? The Scriptures answer the question. In Proverbs we read the words of Wisdom (1:33), "Whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall he quiet from fear of evil." And the Scriptures explain further (I John 4:16, 18): "God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him .... There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment."
