Inferiority Renounced
"Our identity has never been, can never be,
less than Soul's perfect manifestation"
Perfection is a divine demand, which rejects every form of inferiority. In his Sermon on the Mount, Christ Jesus set forth this requirement as it relates to each of us: "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect" (Matt. 5:48). His words reveal the relationship between God and man to be that of perfect Father and perfect son. They indicate that such a heavenly state is the only correct standard. They demand renunciation of all that is mediocre and second-rate.
