A student of Christian Science found herself becoming increasingly disturbed by the television newscasts which report graphically the troubles of the world today. She appreciated the excellent work of the reporters in bringing national and international conditions to the attention of their many viewers, but when a picture of mob violence flashed on the screen, she would utter an anguished "Isn't that awful?" The distress was even greater when the abhorrent scene had taken place in her own country.
