Of Good Report
Many Others Read Our Daily Newspaper
The following statement from the leading editorial by Mary Baker Eddy in the first issue of The Christian Science Monitor is reprinted on pages 352 and 353 of her book "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany": "My desire is that every Christian Scientist, and as many others as possible, subscribe for and read our daily newspaper."
Among numerous letters received in appreciation of the Monitor are many from non-Scientists who wish to express gratitude for its help to them.
One letter from a clergyman states, "The Christian Science Monitor has been a welcome addition to our home. I wanted a paper that would be wholesome for my four children and have found it in your daily publication."
