Spiritual Baptism Is Progressive

Through the study of Christian Science, one learns that baptism is a purification from all error. The purifying process is not the work of a moment, but is the gradual abandonment of sinful qualities. As the student progresses, he finds that there are many forms of sin which must be eradicated.
