Eight years ago I learned of Christian Science by reading Christian Science literature, which I found in the house in which I was then living. Within a few weeks I began attending the services at the local Church of Christ, Scientist. What wonderful changes have come into my life since I took that step!

Prior to this I had experienced a period of great unhappiness, a broken home, loneliness, lack, ill health, and a very heavy sense of responsibility in bringing up two sons. But as my understanding of Science developed through the daily study of the Bible Lessons, provided by the Christian Science Quarterly, and through attendance at Sunday church services and Wednesday testimony meetings, life began to take on new meaning. Every aspect of my life has improved.

Prior to my interest in Science I had experienced much difficulty in my back. The condition had been attributed to various material causes, and several material remedies had been applied; but only temporary relief had been gained. When the symptoms reappeared after I became interested in Science, I sought the aid of a Christian Science practitioner, who helped me to see that this was primarily an erroneous condition of thought, not of a material body, and I was quickly healed.
