It was in June, 1910, that I had the great privilege of being accepted as a member of The Mother Church, and I should like to express my gratitude for all the blessings I have received during the years since then. About that same time I had class instruction. What I learned in those two weeks of instruction, and at the many association meetings that have followed, has brought me endless joy and many healings.
During the First World War, I was called back to Europe from America because my mother needed me urgently. There were difficulties in the way of obtaining a passport and passage; but I steadfastly held to the truth that God, divine Love, governs man harmoniously. Everything worked out well; all obstacles were overcome, and I was able to reach the boat just about one half hour before its departure. In every step I had seen Love's guidance, preparing the way.
