Who's Doing It?
In the realm of Truth all is truth. Truth does all. In the supposed realm of the absence of Truth, all is error. Error does all. But since the absence of Truth is only a supposition, because Truth is All-in-all, error is really nothing.
Truth's expression, or image, is the real man. He is true and perfect. Error's image can express nothing but the absence of Truth. It is, therefore, not man at all. It manifests nothing but a false supposition.
This false supposition, or error, which we call mortal mind, has no manifestation, no man. It cannot make something out of nothing; so it presents a distorted view of Truth's image and calls it mortal man, and it says God, Truth, created him. On page 295 of Science and Health, Mrs. Eddy says, "Mortals are not like immortals, created in God's own image; but infinite Spirit being all, mortal consciousness will at last yield to the scientific fact and disappear, and the real sense of being, perfect and forever intact, will appear."
