The history of the Harvey Christian Science church dates back to 1908 when a small group of students interested in Christian Science began meeting in their homes. The group was recognized as a Christian Science Society [by] The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Mass, Feb. 21, 1909, and in March of that year the society began holding regular Sunday services and Wednesday evening meetings in the Land Association building at 15432 Park ave.
