The Voice of God

When we desire to hear the voice of God, it speaks to us and we heed it"

Throughout the Bible there are records of men who have been so spiritualized that they have heard the voice of God. Moses led his people to the foot of Mount Sinai, and the whole mount was shaken by an earthquake. Then a trumpet sounded long, waxing louder and louder, and Moses spoke, and "God answered him by a voice" (Ex. 19:19). And when God had given the Ten Commandments, He said to Moses, "Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven" (Ex. 20:22). The message that He gave was that there should be no other God worshiped before Him in earth or in heaven.
