RADIO PROGRAM No. 4 - Overcoming Anxiety
HOST: I suppose anxiety is an enemy that knocks at everybody's door. In fact, Time magazine recently called our era "The Age of Anxiety." The article says, "Anxiety seems to be the dominant fact—and is threatening to become the dominant cliché—of modern life. It shouts in the headlines...nags from advertisements...whines from the stage...and whispers in privacy each day before the shaving mirror and the dressing table."
But do we have to accept fear as part of our lives? Where can we look for a sense of genuine peace?
SPEAKER: People were asking that question thousands of years ago. Many found a truly satisfying answer in the Bible then, and we can find it there now:
