"EYE HATH NOT SEEN, NOR EAR HEARD"
I Corinthians 2:9
The
reign of spiritual light
Establishes God's day.
Awestruck, the opened eye
Gazes unweariedly
On skies undimmed by night.
O beauty past beholding...
Can ever words suffice,
Or music paraphrase
The ineluctable grace
Of timeless good unfolding?
Reflected radiance
To human spheres brings dawn.
Thus, day and night are known,
Idea born, flower blown,
And men set free from chance.
