With a heart full of gratitude for our Leader, who discovered and founded Christian Science, I submit this testimony. It has been a privilege to know of Science since my childhood. God's allness has been proved many times either with a practitioner's help or through my own prayer when I have sincerely put into use the truths contained in the Bible and in the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.

Some years ago, with the help of a practitioner, I experienced a healing of grief at the passing on of a loved parent, and our daughter's birth which occurred at the same time was harmonious. I was able very soon to attend to the care of the baby myself. Joyous unfoldment came from an understanding of the truth of Mrs. Eddy's words, "God is the parent Mind, and man is God's spiritual offspring" (Science and Health, p. 336). The realization that God's ideas bless each other in reflecting divine Love has helped me in other experiences since.

When during the Second World War I learned that my husband was to depart for overseas duty with the Armed Forces, suggestions of fear of the future and of a false sense of responsibility for our young daughter, for myself, and for our home came to me. I had never been alone before. By praying to understand further man's inseparable relationship to God, I became more joyfully aware of the infinite quality of wisdom coming from God, divine Mind.
