DISTRIBUTION
Our
bread of Truth we now send forth to heal;
Our wine, Love's inspiration, we now share
With all receptive strangers everywhere,
Through distribution of the Word. Our zeal
Is thus to raise the humble and reveal
A vista that will dissipate despair
And tell of Love's redemptive, constant care—
Of manhood that the rags of sense conceal.
When Adam's self-inflicted wounds wax sore,
These gilts may soothe them with Christ's tenderness.
Here inspiration's wine and gentle oil
Are furnished through such consecrated toil
That every drop must comfort, heal, and bless,
Replenished from our Father's boundless store.
