"I will say of the Lord, He is...
"I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust" (Ps. 91:2). Like the Psalmist, I give thanks to God for the confidence and the certainty of divine protection which the study of Christian Science brings to us.
This Science was presented to me during the Second World War. My family and I were guided and protected under various difficult circumstances. Through these experiences I gained the certainty that God, divine Love, is ever present to help us, no matter what the problem may be.
Since the war we have had numerous physical healings in our family. I was healed of migraine, from which I had suffered from childhood, and of heart trouble. I cannot say exactly when I was healed of these ills, but I know that I was healed through the daily study of the Lesson-Sermons, provided in the Quarterly, a study which purifies our thought; and the healings have been permanent.
