Immediately upon taking up...
IMMEDIATELY upon taking up the study of Christian Science I experienced healings of stomach trouble and financial difficulties. But the healing of a condition at the end of my spine was not quickly accomplished.
So I decided to spend some time at the Sanatorium of the Christian Science Benevolent Association on Pacific Coast. Upon arriving, I told a practitioner of my trouble, and also I said that I was going to study Science constantly and apply everything I read to the spinal condition in order to bring about the healing.
She merely asked, "Why don't you study to know more of God?" Her words brought me peace. I reasoned that if I could hold constantly to the allness of God, good, there would not be a split second in which to think of myself as a sick mortal.
