"The alert Christian Scientist seeks to live
in the now of eternity"
The old saying, "Tomorrow never comes," points to "now" as the only time. In Christian Science we discern that this is indeed true. The alert Christian Scientist seeks to live in the now of eternity, claiming and using his present innate ability to perform all that is legitimately asked of him. To be sure, he is sometimes faced with the suggestion that he lacks essential knowledge or some necessary skill and perhaps a mass of circumstantial evidence purporting to prove the point, but he need not be daunted.
