Christian Science is a revelation. It is not a human philosophy, a speculative theory, or merely another religious denomination. It is the Science of being, revealing the facts of existence— what God knows of Himself and His creation. It stands squarely on the truths in the Bible, as the title of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, indicates.

The revelation came from God to this age through the pure, spiritual consciousness of Mrs. Eddy. On page 123 of Science and Health, our Leader states:
