Some years ago, when I was quite a new student of Christian Science, great fear was expressed in our home because a dear one had passed on with a so-called incurable disease. A few days later I manifested the same symptoms and became so fearful that I was unable to think clearly enough to use the little I knew of Christian Science. The other members of my family were not students of Science and wanted to call a doctor, but I asked for the help of a practitioner. I do not remember exactly what she said, but I do know that the fear I felt was quickly allayed with her declarations of truth. She continued to pray for me, and within two days the swelling opened and drained. It healed up very quickly, leaving no scar.

In Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy we read (p. 391): "Justice is the moral signification of law. Injustice declares the absence of law." Some time ago I had the opportunity to prove the ever-presence of God's law of good.

It is part of my daily work to make up estimates for bids which are then checked by another person in the office. I had made up an estimate for a firm with which we had not been able to do very much business because they always accepted the lowest bid, regardless of the other services or advantages offered to offset the price. This particular estimate had been checked twice, before being submitted to the firm.
