The Bible states, "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good" (I Thess. 5:21). In my own experience Christian Science was proved to be good, and I have endeavored to hold fast to it.

Many years ago while I was living in a large city, apparently surrounded by everything one could desire, I became so unhappy that I no longer cared to live and decided to end my existence. When I was unsuccessful in an attempt to do this, I awakened to the fact that I must be living for a purpose.

While I was still in a disturbed state of mind, the thought came to me that I should investigate Christian Science. I immediately made an appointment with a practitioner, and as we talked I was shown a new world, God's spiritual creation, and guided into the true way of Life. I gained an understanding of the joy which belongs to man, who is actually the offspring of Love, and ever since, the application of Science has met my every need.
