Before I began the study of it, I had heard of Christian Science many times. I often wondered what the religion was all about.
After the First World War, I was suffering from grief, dysentery and anemia, and the doctors were not able to help me. One night the thought came to me that I should try this Science. The next morning I telephoned to a practitioner who lived near my home, because I did not think I could walk very far.
