"Guidance for Readers"

In December, 1959, copies of a new pamphlet entitled "Guidance for Readers" were sent to the executive boards of all branch churches and societies with the recommendation that they be distributed to Readers only and one copy kept for the use of the executive board. Outgoing Readers should give their copies of this pamphlet to their successors. When additional copies are required, they will be supplied by the Department of Branches and Practitioners, 107 Falmouth Street, Boston 15, Massachusetts, upon request from the executive boards.

Notice

Inquiries from the Field are sometimes received in regard to placing free copies of The Christian Science Monitor in literature distribution boxes. In Boston, the Literature Distribution Committee of The Mother Church is no longer placing Monitors in the distribution boxes. Distribution through these boxes is confined to our other periodicals.

Among the means found to be effective for distributing noncurrent copies of the Monitor are to make them available to ships, to seamen's clubs, and to public institutions, such as schools, prisons, hospitals, et cetera, and to send marked copies to those interested in particular subjects.
