I can truly testify to the healing power of Christian Science. For many years I suffered from asthma. One day when I was having a severe attack a neighbor came in to see me. She said: "I am reading a book that is said to cure people. Would you like to read it?"

I said: "Bring it to me. Perhaps I will look through it, for I shall not be able to sleep tonight."

I had not heard of Mrs. Eddy or of her book Science and Health. I opened it and read these words: "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings" (Pref., p. vii). I thought to myself that that was the kind of God I should like to know. Then I went to sleep and slept all night. The next morning I awoke completely healed. Since then, sixty years ago, I have radically relied on Christian Science for all my help.
