It is with much gratitude that I submit the following testimony about a healing which my son had in Christian Science. One Sunday afternoon he went to the school grounds to play ball. He threw the ball up on the roof and then climbed up to get it.
When he got up on the roof, he saw many balls up there and was very happy. He forgot he was on the roof, walked carelessly, and stepped on a place which could not support him. He fell off the roof, which was about fifteen feet from the ground, and received head and body injuries.
At the time this happened, my elder son helped him. He declared the truth and prayed for his brother as we are taught to do in Christian Science. He said the Lord's Prayer and "the scientific statement of being" from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy (p. 468). The latter includes these words: "Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is the unreal and temporal."
