I have been healed of many things, some through my own work in Christian Science and some with the help of a practitioner. One experience which stands out to me is the healing of warts on my hands, including one on the side of my thumb; this at times was quite painful. The healing was accomplished through my own work when I refused to see as real the material evidence before me and held to the fact of my spiritual perfection. Our daughter was also healed of this condition. Her healing seemed long delayed, but it finally came about when I saw clearly that God alone is man's Father-Mother.

I have also been beautifully protected in situations which to material sense were very alarming. About a year ago I was driving to church one Sunday morning on a road which was very slippery because of a heavy snowfall. The car began to skid, swerving violently from one side of the road to the other, narrowly missing telephone poles. My thoughts were rather confused, but I remember saying aloud several times, "God is ever present."

The car finally slid backward into a culvert at the side of the road, and although it was on a slant, it did not turn over. A motorist who was passing stopped and helped me out. I was unhurt, and the car was not damaged; but it could not be freed without a tow truck.

I was serving as soloist in church and felt I could not wait; so I asked the motorist if he was going into the city. He said he was going only part way; but this proved to be to the very street of my destination. I arrived at the usual time and performed my duties with a complete sense of freedom. The part of this experience for which I am most grateful is that I had no fear of driving again, although overcoming fear had been a big step when I was learning to drive.

For the establishment of a happy home and the harmonious births of our two children, I am most grateful. The wonderful privilege of class instruction has also been a great and continuing blessing. I can never appreciate enough the work of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, in bringing Christian Science to the attention of the world.—(Mrs.) Marjorie L. Klein, Wheaton, Illinois.
