Signs of the Times
William J. McCartney County executive director of YMCA in a guest editorial of The Sheridan Press Sheridan, Wyoming

Christians have spent many centuries developing their own particular denominational doctrines and have spent uncountable hours in defending these doctrines which make them a bit different from others. Our eagerness to strengthen that which makes us different has left us, many times, 'snow bound' to the basic ideas which help to make us one with each other.
"Jesus pointed out that the worth of the individual and what was done to develop the potential of each...so that he would have a more perfect relationship with his fellow man and his God was all that was really important.
