I am very grateful for Christian Science and all that it has done to enrich my experience. Several years ago I had a number of large boils. One day, while I was studying Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, I realized that I must express more love. Therefore I started at the beginning of the book, considering the word "love" whenever it appeared. A higher sense of God as Love unfolded to me. I also had the help of a Christian Science practitioner, and the boils soon disappeared.

Another time I was healed of a sore throat that had caused me to lose my voice. I had not eaten for several days and was in a state of semiconsciousness. A consecrated practitioner prayed tirelessly for me.

One night the members of our family took turns reading to me the Bible Lesson, outlined in the Christian Science Quarterly. The fourth time it was read, my voice was restored, and I was able to eat immediately. The healing was complete. In the Bible we read (Hebr. 4:12), "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
