THE SINGING HEART
My
heart is singing like a bird;
Thou, God, art All to me.
Not one false note, not one wrong word
Shall mar my harmony.
My feet are moving like a hind
With grace at Thy behest.
Reflecting omnipresent Mind,
Activity is rest!
My hands delight to do Thy will,
However small the task;
Let false ambition now be still—
To serve is all I ask.
The singing heart pours forth its love
In joy expressing Thee.
Oh, may my every action prove
That Thou art All to me!
