A Forward-looking
Middle Eastern Prime Minister, being interviewed recently by a correspondent of The Christian Science Monitor, asked the reporter why the Church should have undertaken to publish a daily newspaper.
It
is recorded in the eighth chapter of Mark that at one time Christ Jesus rebuked his followers, saying, "Having eyes, see ye not?
Recently
much has been written and said about insubordination among young people and the seeming attraction of evil which leads to discord and dismay.
Treatment
and prayer in Christian Science have one objective —to glorify God.
A college
student who sets his sights on a certain profession moves toward that goal through the study of carefully chosen courses, which give depth and perspective to his major subject.
Christ Jesus
gave us an example of what one can accomplish by putting his relationship to God first; and the secret of his success is found in the reply to the lawyer who asked.
According
to the demonstrated precepts of Christian Science, God is universal good.
