With a heart overflowing with gratitude for Mrs. Eddy and her revelation of Christian Science to this age, I wish to share some of the healings experienced by our family.

My first acquaintance with this Science was the result of my reading a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. It was in our bookcase, having been given to my husband by his grandmother when he was a child. During the period while I was reading the book, a friend took me to several Wednesday evening testimony meetings in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist.

Before one such meeting I hesitated about going, because our young daughter was ill with a very high temperature, and I was afraid to leave her. However, since her father was with her, I went with my friend, and my thought was so uplifted during the meeting that the child was healed. When I returned to the house, she was playing happily, and her temperature was normal.
