Active Retirement
"Man ... is never deprived of the capacity
to express right activity"
Many people today are concerned about retirement. Too often those who face this experience develop a feeling of anxiety, for they believe they have reached a period of uselessness and inactivity. It is not the passage of years, but the fear of old age, with what they believe will involve inactivity, that burdens their thinking. It is not time itself, but the constant fretting and worrying about the passage of time that account for much of what is called the signs of old age.
