True Appetite

"Love shows true appetite to be the yearning to know more of God and to serve Him better"

Although appetite is usually thought of as something allied to passion, and hence undesirable, there is such a thing as true appetite. And this is the way Christ Jesus describes it (Matt. 5:6): "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." Also, he taught his disciples a prayer which petitioned (Matt. 6:11), "Give us this day our daily bread."
