RADIO PROGRAM No. 383 - Who and What Is God?

SPEAKER: The preparation and production of this series, "How Christian Science Heals," are based on intimate talks with many hundreds of people—people who at one time or another in their lives have echoed Job's cry, "Oh that I knew where I might find him!" It's been thrilling to talk with them because they're people who have gained a new, clear, transforming understanding of God. They have found that as they have understood Him correctly and have lived what they learned, they have dropped burdens of sin, sickness, and woe. Our guest, Albert Smith, of Louisville, Kentucky, is a typical example of this.

Mr. Smith, what led you to a search for God?

MR. SMITH: I'd always been more or less interested in religion. In fact, I was president of a men's Bible class. I knew the Bible was a divinely inspired book; I loved it, but it was puzzling to me. I felt there was some great power Christ Jesus had used, but I couldn't grasp it.
