Christian Science has been my...
Christian Science has been my unfailing support for the past twenty-three years. It has helped me mentally, morally, and financially. My first healing, that of a nervous breakdown, was instantaneous and complete, and for it I am unceasingly grateful.
At this time I wish to express my sincere thanks for two other healings which proved to me that God, good, is ever with us. The first experience took place when I was still a new student of Christian Science and was pregnant. One evening a miscarriage occurred, and the doctor who was to have attended me at the time of the birth was summoned. He informed me that I had an internal infection and would have to resort to surgery in the morning.
After the physician left, my husband and I turned to a Christian Science practitioner for help. He came and worked prayerfully for me through the night, voicing the truth to me at intervals. His explanation concerning God and His spiritual creation destroyed my fear.
