When Christian Science was introduced to me, I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown after years of unhappiness. To complete my sorrow, one who meant more to me than anyone else had just passed on, and I felt I had no reason for living.

However, as I gained from Science and Health some understanding of the spiritual meaning of the Bible, the light of Truth that makes man free began to dawn on my consciousness. I was beginning to see that there really was a purpose in life for me and for everyone. Although the way out of darkness was slow, I continuously experienced more peace and joy.

My complete freedom came as I put into practice the truth of what I was learning from my daily study of Christian Science. How grateful I am now that I did not give up the study of this religion just because I did not seem to understand it!
