PENETRATION OF TRUTH

Truth penetrates all error;
Yet not as agitated drill
Boring through rock,
But by its presence only.

Truth's action is like that of dawn
Effacing night;
Like that of burgeoning seed,
Sending its tender shoots
Through winter's crust
To flower in light.

Patience, O heart,
Battling in belief
With pain, with dearth!
Stand in a dawn
That darkness cannot doom;
Be the florescence
Which blooms untouched by time;
Know that Truth, constant,
Regnant in our heaven,
Reigns too on earth.
