I should like to express my...
I should like to express my gratitude to God for a healing I experienced recently. I had almost lost the use of my hands and arms, and my whole body was affected at times. I asked a Christian Science practitioner to help me, and feeling that I was healed, I went away on a holiday. But the trouble started again, and when I came home, I again asked a practitioner to help me.
While I was in church one Sunday morning, the spiritual conviction of man's perfection as a child of God was so clear that the thought came to me, "I am healed." All week the thought kept coming to me, "I am healed," though to the material senses it did not seem so. I asked the practitioner to continue helping me.
On Wednesday evenings, since I live a long distance from church, I have an informal Christian Science testimony meeting at home on my own. As I reach that point in the meeting when the congregation is invited to give testimonies of healing, I always read a testimony out of Science and Health or from a copy of The Christian Science Journal or the Christian Science Sentinel.
