is being said today regarding the dignity and value of the individual, and the proper evaluation of the individual is acknowledged as a basic element of an advancing civilization.

girl who was afraid of the dark at the head of the stairs was each night lovingly assured by her parents of God's presence and power.
The
endeavor to invade men's minds and to gain control of their thinking, an endeavor as old as recorded history, strikes each generation with fresh impact.
Christian Science refutes the generally accepted belief that evil is actual, having power and reality and the ability to annihilate good.
There is a great need today for recognizing the indestructible unity which exists between God and man.

In order that radiocast lectures may be announced in the Sentinel in time for pickup in countries outside the United States, will churches expecting to give such lectures send this information to the Journal, Sentinel, and Herald Editorial Department at least three months in advance of date of lecture, and four months if possible.

SPEAKER: How often people think their health is at the mercy of the weather, of seasonal changes—heat or cold, rain or drought, fog or snow! But what a wonderful thing it is to know that we can rely on the unchanging goodness of God, divine Love, and in this way find freedom from what are considered to be seasonal ailments.
Although
as a youth I had the privilege of attending the Christian Science Sunday School, I did not recognize until many years later the great blessing it held for me.

1946 I borrowed from a friend who was a student of Christian Science a copy of Science and Health.
Doctors
were in constant attendance on me during my childhood, especially for a heart condition.
One
of my first healings in Christian Science occurred when one of my arms caught in a piece of moving machinery.
I am
grateful to say that I was born and reared in a Christian home and was an active member in one of the orthodox churches for many years.
I should
like to express my gratitude to God for a healing I experienced recently.
Christian Science
has been my only physician since early childhood.
