I am grateful to say that I was...
I am grateful to say that I was born and reared in a Christian home and was an active member in one of the orthodox churches for many years. However, as time went on, I became dissatisfied and began to realize that the commandment to heal the sick which was given us by Christ Jesus was being overlooked.
I had heard of Christian Science, but knew little about it. On one occasion a woman came from another city to visit her aunt, who was a close neighbor of mine. I found out that this woman was a student of Christian Science; so I invited her to our home and spoke to her of my desire to know something about the religion. I explained that if I were convinced that it gives God all the glory and honor of healing the sick, I surely would want it. She lovingly assured me that Christian Science does give God the full glory.
I began at once to study the Bible and Science and Health, and now I can truthfully say that for the past forty-five years it has been a great blessing to me in many ways—mentally, physically, and spiritually.
