In the midst of the depression of the 1930 s, at a time when I was faced with a seemingly unyielding problem of disease, someone put the question to me, "What has Christian Science ever done for you?" The answer came on a wave of gratitude that has never left me, "It has given me a God whom I can trust." Needless to say, my healing followed.
