As my understanding of God deepens and enriches my daily experience, I realize in countless ways how grateful I am for Christian Science. It is from a deep and abiding sense of gratitude that I wish to share this testimony with others.

I was reared in a home where the Bible was revered, and attendance at Sunday School was encouraged. I recall how distant and unfamiliar God appeared to me then and how like the image of man He appeared to my childish thought.

Some years were to pass before I was introduced to Christian Science. Through the healing of a close friend of the family from a distressing condition of long standing, my parents were so impressed that they immediately took up the study of Science. This happened at a time when I was still young enough to attend the Christian Science Sunday School for one year.
