Christian Science has been my only help for forty-four years. Many physical healings have come to me, including those of headaches, sprains, broken bones, and tonsillitis, which I had had each winter with a loss of voice for several days at a time. A great fear of darkness has been overcome, and lost articles have been recovered. For all these manifestations of God's care, I am grateful. But most of all I am grateful that the healing of resentment and of depressed feelings has taken place and that our home life has become joyous and harmonious.

Several years ago when I was associated with a retail business, sun lamps came to wide attention as a means to better health. One morning I was approached by the advertising manager with a request that I help him with some strong statements which he could use in his display advertising for these lamps. Previously I had been told that this was an item which I ought to take home and use, since my office was under a balcony with no natural light and no sunlight.

Having learned through my study of Christian Science that God is the only source of health, I did not wish to aid in advertising the lamp. With this disturbed thought and without replacing my objection with a constructive and scientific reason, I found myself manifesting a very disagreeable cold. Then I was again offered the sun lamp to take home.
