For centuries college and university students have been taught that intelligence is derived from matter, from the so-called brain. This misbelief about intelligence would sow fear, hatred, pride, envy, false appetite, and other tares amidst society's unfolding thought. Today through the work of Christian Science organizations at colleges and universities, a more scientific mode of thinking is active in halls of learning. Youthful metaphysicians, by words and works, are following the Master's example and are proving man's intelligence to be the reflection of God, divine Mind. This correct view of intelligence, explained in the teachings of Christian Science, raises the student to higher and broader realms of thought.

The Mother Church, through the College Organization Division in the Department of Branches and Practitioners, continues to encourage this vital spiritual activity at educational institutions in accordance with the provision of Article XXIII, Section 8, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy. The following excerpts are taken from organization reports received by the College Organization Division. From an organization in Europe:

"Several of our members have found new freedom through the recognition that God, divine Mind, is universal and always available to all nations and ages. Regardless of material circumstances or the so-called problems of human environment, divine Mind is imparting right ideas in every hour.
