Christian Science was presented to us some years ago by my husband's sister, who had received many blessings from it and who was eager to share those blessings with others. It seemed wonderful to me to find in this teaching that God is Love, that He is our Father and our Mother, and that He is ever present and not in some heaven far removed from us.

We began studying the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly and attending the services in a branch Church of Christ, Scientist. Our two sons were then enrolled in the Sunday School. We had many wonderful healings at this time, some through our own application of the truths we had learned and others through the loving help of Christian Science practitioners.

I should like to express my gratitude for all the dear friends who encouraged us and helped us on our way. Our eldest son was healed of severe attacks of pain. Over a period of time he would have temporary relief, but the attacks would return. At one time, when he seemed to be suffering more than ever, the thought came to me that we must mentally "loose him, and let him go," as Jesus directed the onlookers who had seen him raise Lazarus from the tomb (John 11:44).
