I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science. We have had many wonderful proofs of God's care, including guidance in finding a home and in gaining supply and employment. In our family there have also been healings of concussions, car trouble, and speech defects.

At one time one of our daughters had a severe case of chicken pox. It was reported to the health authorities as required by law. My husband and I had been up working prayerfully for her during the night, but she seemed to grow worse. I called a Christian Science practitioner, and her parting remark to me was, "God is at the helm." When I went back to the child I realized I had been looking down into a pool of error's doubt and fear. I knew only God could be at the helm, guiding and guarding. The fever broke immediately. She slept normally and awoke free.

When our twins were one and a half years old and our son ten and a half, I applied for class instruction. The thought came: "How can I ever have class with two young children to care for? Who will care for them and for our son? Where will the money come from for the hotel bills and eating?"
