Many years ago I heard someone tell of being healed by a religion called Christian Science. This annoyed me, and I had to restrain myself from expressing hard words. About five years later I found myself at the door of this Christ Science, hoping to receive help. According to the medical diagnosis, I was suffering from tuberculosis in various parts of the body. My mother had passed on with this disease, and I had dreaded it for years.

Christian Science had been recommended to me from the very beginning, and it seemed that even where I turned someone would say, "Try Christian Science." Then when the medical profession could do nothing more for me I decided to try Science.

I went to a Christian Science practitioner, who began prayerful treatment, and I studied the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. The throat, nose, and kidney conditions were healed in about three weeks. I felt uplifted, and my strength returned.
