RADIO PROGRAM No. 371 - We Cannot Be Separated from God's Love

SPEAKER: When the astronauts are successfully launched into space, will the distance they travel separate them from the love of God? Although submarines are reaching greater depths of the ocean, does that mean their crews are beyond the reach of God's love? No. That is impossible.

These examples may seem a far cry from the experience of our guest. Yet she faced this question too at the very threshold of death. Her recovery illustrates that we can never be separated from the love of God. Now here is Mrs. Dorothy Oliver Melton, of Dallas, Texas, to tell you her own experience.

MRS. MELTON: I first heard of Christian Science from my uncle, who was a surgeon. I'd been under the care of physicians for months with a nervous breakdown, but was no better. My uncle, who owned a large hospital in another part of the state, sent for me. I was under his care in the hospital for about three weeks. Then one day he asked me to take a drive with him; so I did. During the drive I was amazed to have him suggest that I try Christian Science. He said he had seen many healings through Christian Science when other methods had failed.
