For over thirty years I have been receiving benefits from the study of Christian Science. In childhood I was taught to fear God. I knew nothing of His all-presence and all-power to heal and to save until I began studying our textbook. Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. From the beginning of this study, I found it a source of comfort, hope, and joy to know God as Love.

Our daughters were healed of various so-called childhood diseases. Warts were dissolved, and enuresis was overcome in one treatment. When our older daughter fell from an object of some height onto a concrete floor, she was quickly healed through the application of Christian Science.

While we were living in the home of my husband's parents, our younger daughter developed measles and pneumonia. Because of her grandparents' concern and the law that required that measles be reported to the health authorities, we called in a doctor. On one of his visits he found her resisting medical treatment. Therefore no further treatment was offered or given.
