Essex, Maryland (First Church).
First Church of Christ, Scientist, Essex, Maryland, announces that dedication services will be held at 721 Eastern Avenue this Sunday, November 8, at 11 a.m. and 3.30 p.m.
The history of this church began in 1947 when a group of Christian Scientists living in the eastern section of Baltimore County desired to have regular church services and a Sunday School in their own locality. The first service was held on Thanksgiving Day in the home of one of the members.
